What is Raven & Wolfsbane Collective?
Raven & Wolfsbane Collective is my small business where I create handcrafted teas, cleansing grains, bath and body products, and traditional goods. Every purchase also helps me build the Aurora Haven Rural Learning Center which is a place where people can reconnect with animals, the land, and old-fashioned skills.
What types of products do you offer?
I offer handcrafted loose-leaf teas, cleansing grains, shower steamers, bath teas, Epsom soaks, body oils, after-sun shimmer sprays, candles, soaps, men’s grooming products, and a small selection of traditional and seasonal goods.
Are your products handmade?
Yes. Every product is handcrafted in small batches with intentional care. We believe slower production allows us to preserve the details, textures, scents, and comfort that make handcrafted goods feel meaningful.
Where are your products made?
Every collection is handcrafted inside The Haven, our woodland homestead in Eagle Lake, Maine. The same warmth, stillness, candlelight, and forest atmosphere that inspire our products surround the space where they are created each day.
Ingredients & Skin
How do you ensure your ingredients are ethically and sustainably sourced
Sustainability is the heart of our craft. We partner with small-scale wildcrafters and organic growers who respect the land. Each ingredient is traced from seed to bottle, ensuring no harm is done to the delicate ecosystems we inhabit.
What skin types are your products suitable for?
Our handcrafted apothecary items are formulated to be gentle and grounding. Most are suitable for sensitive skin, but we always recommend a patch test, as nature’s potent botanicals affect every individual differently.
Are your soaps vegan?
Many of our collections are vegan-friendly. However, we occasionally use ethically sourced beeswax or honey from our homestead. Please check the individual product descriptions for a full list of ingredients.
Do your products contain parabens or sulfates?
No. We are committed to purely clean formulations. You will never find parabens, sulfates, phthalates, or artificial colors in any Raven & Wolfsbane product.
Do you use synthetic fragrances?
Never. We rely exclusively on pure essential oils, resins, and infusions to scent our products. This ensures the fragrance is as nature intended—subtle, therapeutic, and free from endocrine-disrupting chemicals.
Do you test on animals?
Absolutely not. We are a cruelty-free apothecary. We believe in living in harmony with all creatures, and our testing is done only on willing woodland spirits (ourselves and family).
Why does my bar of soap look different?
That is the beauty of artisan craft. Because we use natural clays and botanicals, slight variations in color and texture are normal. Each bar is as unique as the forest herself.

Do you have seasonal collections?
Yes. Our offerings shift with the wheel of the year. From the crisp pine of winter to the floral blooms of spring, our seasonal collections reflect the changing landscape of our Maine homestead.
What does 'small batch' actually imply for your products?
Small batch production means we make only a limited number of items at a time. This ensures absolute freshness, allows for meticulous quality control, and minimizes waste in our homestead apothecary.
Do you offer artisan teas?
We offer a selection of handcrafted herbal tea blends, wildcrafted and blended with intention. Each blend is designed for comfort, grounding, and slow moments by the fire.
Are your products meant to treat medical conditions?
Our apothecary items are designed for comfort and slow living support. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical conditions. Always seek the advice of a medical professional for health concerns.
Use & Care
How should I store my items after purchase?
Store your items in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Keep teas and cleansing grains tightly sealed, and always use clean, dry hands or a spoon when handling them. Follow the directions on each label, patch-test skincare products before full use, and discontinue use if irritation occurs. Teas are for drinking; all bath, body, and cleansing products are for external use only.
How long do your artisan soap bars last?
A single bar typically lasts 3–4 weeks with daily use. To preserve its life, keep it on a well-draining soap dish in a dry area between uses. The absence of synthetic hardeners makes this extra care essential.

Always use items as directed on labels. For topical use only. We recommend beginning with a small amount to see how your skin responds to nature’s potent botanicals.
Orders & Shipping
What are your processing times?
We prepare all orders by hand at our homestead. Typical processing time is 3–5 business days, though this may slightly increase during seasonal release peaks.
Do you offer international shipping?
At this time, we only ship within the United States and Canada. We hope to expand our reach to other woodland spirits across the globe in the near future as our humble homestead grows.
What is your return policy?
Due to the personal nature of our apothecary products, we cannot accept returns once they have been opened. However, if your order arrives damaged, please reach out so we can make it right.
Damaged orders
If your items arrive compromised by the journey, please email us with a photo of the damage within 48 hours. We will arrange for a replacement or store credit to ensure your peaceful experience is restored.
Allergens
Our items are prepared in an environment that handles nut oils and botanical resins. If you have severe allergies, please consult our full ingredient lists on each product or reach out directly before purchasing.
